The reopening of the Carnavalet Museum

07 Feb 2020 Lp Art Manutentions

The Carnavalet Museum was closed for the last three years because of major construction work which needed to be done. Three years ago, LP Art packed all the collections and completely emptied the museum. The Museum should now re-open in 2020, and our teams are starting to re install the collections.
Last October, the first operations began with the reinstallation of an historic wooden door from the Paris City Hall which had been restored at LP Art Montreuil. Twelve arthandlers and heavy duty gear were used to manipulate this 500 kilos and 4 meter high artefact.
