The Morozov Collection, of the Louis Vuitton Foundation
The Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris is offering the public a major event for this new school year, from September 22, 2021 to February 22, 2022 the exhibition entitled, "The Morozov collection. Icons of Modern Art ". It is indeed the first time that the Morozov collection has been presented outside Russia, which brings together more than 200 masterpieces of modern French and Russian art by the Muscovite brothersMikhail Abramovich Morozov (1870-1903) and Ivan Abramovich Morozov. (1871-1921), amongst the major artworks exhibited are by Cézanne, Gauguin, Van Gogh, Renoir, Monet, Bonnard, Denis, Matisse, Derain and Picasso alongside artists of the Russian avant-garde such as Vroubel, Malevich, Répine , Larionov or Serov.Thanks to the main lenders are the Pushkin Museum in Moscow, the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg and the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow.
LP Art carried out 27 expeditions for this exhibition -from Russia, Belarus and Ukraine -including 6 air expeditions by freighters and 21 by trucks. The LP Art installation team were present on site for a month, working-together and accompanied by around 40 Russian conveyors also present at the site.
