Olmecs, quai Branly

Presented since October 9th, 2020 at the Quai Branly Museum, the exhibition "The Olmecs and the Cultures of the Gulf of Mexico" highlights the Olmec culture and its diffusion over time. It brings together more than three hundred pieces, some of which are shown for the first time outside Mexico, which reveal the immense diversity of the pre Columbian world.
For a fortnight, six LP Art installers were permanently mobilized and had to show ingenuity to install very large parts requiring permanent adaptation of the equipment on site.
Among the masterworks, a 4.5 ton stone head which was installed at the entrance to the museum on
September 28th, 2020 with the assistance of two LP Art teams, made up of twelve people in total.
