Le Petit Palais is offering a unique exhibition: "Ilya Repin, painting the Russian soul" which introduces you to one of the most eminent painters in the history of Russian art and very little known in France. This is composed of about a hundred paintings retrace the life and work of this artist who strongly influenced the world of 19th and 20th century art in Russia. The exhibit is availabe from October 5, 2021 to January 23, 2022.
In addition to supporting conveyors in a sensitive health context, LP Art teams have distinguished themselves with talent in the unpacking and installation of a hundred works, in particular during crane operations made necessary to hoist the boxes to the 1st floor of the Petit Palais Museum, notably for an unframed masterpiece, an oil on canvas from 1886 entitled "Alexander III receiving the deans of cantons in the courtyard of the Petrovsky Palace in Moscow".
