Hanging up at the Musée des Augustins, Toulouse

08 Feb 2021 Lp Art Manutentions

The Musée des Augustins in Toulouse houses collections made up of more than 4,000 works from the Middle Ages to the beginning of the 20th century, not only masterpieces of medieval sculpture but also prominent paintings from the 17th to the beginning of the 20th century.

Before its reopening, scheduled for the second half of 2022, the museum is currently closed for a series of works: restoration of the glass roofs built at the end of the 19th century, construction of a new reception and various works to offer better access conditions and visits to all visitors, renovation of Gothic art rooms and painting salons.

As part of this complete renovation, the LP Art Toulouse team proceeded during the fortnight preceding the 2020 end-of-year celebrations to hang up large-format paintings in the newly repainted painting salons.
