From Alésia to Rome, Museum of Saint-Germain-en-Laye

The exhibition entitled "From Alésia to Rome: the archaeological adventure of Napoleon III", organized by the Réunion des Musées Nationaux Grand Palais and the Musée d'Archéologie nationale, opened on September 19th, 2020 at the Musée d'Archéologie Nationale of Saint Germain en Laye (78).
Bringing together collections dispersed in different museums, libraries, private collections and art schools, it traces the history of the excavations undertaken by Napoleon III in the foo tsteps of the Caesars.
Before the opening, an LP Art team spent five days unpacking and installing the works.
