Forgotten Kingdoms – From the Hittite Empire to the Arameans

The exhibition invites visitors to rediscover the mythic sites of the Hittite empire, a great rival power of ancient Egypt, which ruled over Anatolia and held sway over the Levant until about 1200 BC. The 180 artworks presented in the Louvre are a magnificent heritage of this time and display of their greatness. These artworks came from numerous cities around the world: London, Berlin, Copenhagen Jerusalem or Chicago. 10 LP art installers worked in the Louvre for 3 weeks in order to install with care all these masterworks artworks some of which weighing several tons.
