Eugène Delacroix at the Mohamed VI Museum in Rabat, Morocco
After multiple postponements due to the pandemic health crisis, the exhibition “Delacroix, Mémoires of a Trip to Morocco” depicting the voyage of Eugène Delacroix in Morocco in 1832. That is being held at the Mohammed VI Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMVI) from July 7 to October 9, 2021.
It comprises a selection of paintings, drawings, watercolors by the artist but also includes almost all of the objects, clothes, weapons and musical instruments that Delacroix brought back from his trip and with which he lived throughout his career.
