Crozatier Museum - Le Puy en Velay: « Ça tourne »

The exhibition "The factory of animation cinema" offered at the Crozatier Museum in Puy-en-Velay, from December 14, 2019 to May 10, 2020, reveals the beginnings of the 7th art through the multiple processes that make each animated film a real work of art: creation techniques, collector's items, movie extracts, making-of, and behind the scenes of animated cinema ...

Let us remember that animation cinema has been closely linked to Puy-en-Velay since 1876 when Émile Reynaud, an inhabitant from Puy-en-Velay and genius handyman, invented an optical toy which became an essential milestone towards animation movies.

LP Art packed the works and transported the loans from the Cinémathèque Française de Paris to Le Puy.
