"Canada and Impressionism" at the Fabre Museum in Montpellier
From September 2nd to the 10th, four LP ART installers unpacked and installed the exhibition "Canada and Impressionism, New Horizons" which opened on September 19th at the Fabre Museum in Montpellier, a traveling exhibition designed by the National Museum of Fine Arts of Canada: a hundred impressionist masterpieces, most of them never seen by the French public, signed by artists such as Maurice Cullen, William Blair Bruce, James Wilson Morrice, Frances Jones, Laura Muntz, Paul Peel, Marc-Aurèle de Foy Suzor-Coté ...so many Canadian artists who developed an original pictorial vocabulary, adapting their printings to the landscapes of North America and creating works as surprising as they are seductive.
