06 Jul 2021 Lp Art

Thanks to the support of the LP Art team, no less than 95 artworks were transferred at the end of May 2021 from the Fundaciun Mapfre in Madrid to the Cantini Museum in Marseille from June 11 to September 26, 2021 to pay tribute to the Russian painter Alexej von Jawlensky, considered today as one of the fathers of German Expressionism.
The Exhibition benefited from loans coming from different museums such as the Center Georges-Pompidou, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Zentrum Paul Klee or the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Lyon. Rich in shapes and colors, the exhibition will continue at the La Piscine in Roubaix next fall.
